Do I need dance experience?

Not at all. Sessions welcome complete beginners. The only requirement is curiosity and a willingness to move.

What is contact improvisation, exactly?

It's a form of physical dialogue — two or more people sharing a point of contact and following the movement that arises. Part dance, part play, part martial art in spirit.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes you can move in freely. No shoes on the dance floor. Avoid zippers or buckles that might poke a partner.

How does a session work?

Sessions typically start with a warm-up and skill exploration, then open into a free "jam" where you dance with whoever you like — or simply observe. There's no pressure.

Do I need to register?

No registration needed. Just show up at Prismare, Roomweg 167, Enschede. Doors open at 19:45. An email heads-up is appreciated but not required.

What does a session cost?
